Details of the House

The Nook is an old mountain cottage in Blackheath, approximately 1.5hrs west of Sydney in the Blue Mountains. Situated on a large block of land with great views of Shipley Plateau and the Kanimbla Valley below, the cottage is over 100 years old, and is full of history, character and simplicity. It’s a quiet place to escape for a few days, and is suited to young and old families alike. It’s also an ideal base for bushwalkers and rockclimbers, and is located on the edge of the bush.

The Nook is situated at the start of the Centennial Glen-Porters Pass walk, and has a number of popular rockclimbing and hiking locations nearby. It’s a 15 minute walk to Blackheath station and shops.
